Mississippi's Top 50 Most Influential
Serving as the Political Director for the Mississippi District United Pentecostal Church since 2013, Ron is a new leading voice on issues involving religious liberty, pro-life, family, child welfare, and criminal justice.
Ron has helped lead successful legislative campaigns by building strong coalitions and he continues to be an influential and dedicated bulwark at the Capitol for the faith-based community. As a result of his commitment to the faith-based community, Governor Phil Bryant appointed him as the inaugural chairman of the Mississippi Advisory Council on Faith-Based Initiatives. Expanding his circle of influence, Ron also served as an advisor to the successful campaigns of Senators Roger Wicker and Cindy Hyde-Smith.
Building genuine and lasting relationships is the bedrock of Ron’s intentional approach in representing the faith community. He believes business and politics move at the speed of relationships, and he whole-heartedly prescribes to President Reagan’s philosophy that there is no telling how far you can go or what you can accomplish if you don’t care who gets the credit.
