Elected in November 2019 with more than 60 percent of the vote, the Honorable Delbert Hosemann is serving as Mississippi’s 33rd Lieutenant Governor. He announced for reelection for Lt. Governor in early January.

Lt. Governor Hosemann is committed to serving the public with open and fair government. He advocates for increasing transparency in State government, supporting small businesses, shoring up Mississippi’s roads and bridges, improving workforce development efforts, and ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education.

Raised in Warren County, Mississippi, Lt. Governor Hosemann received his undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Notre Dame, a law degree from the University of Mississippi, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University.

He and Lynn Hosemann, his wife, are members of St. Richard Catholic Church. They are extremely proud of their three children and eight grandchildren.
