Parker Briden has been one of Governor Tate Reeves’ most trusted advisors since his gubernatorial campaign in 2019. In the chaotic first two years of the administration, Briden managed the office’s messaging through historic crises and crafted opportunities for the Governor to bring order. 

With Briden’s assistance and an aggressive messaging strategy, Governor Reeves became an accessible fixture on local and national news. They grew their own media presence to have the 6th largest Facebook page among all Republican governors–surpassing the leaders of much larger states. Its following is currently twice as large as the Facebook page of the state’s largest newspaper.

Briden was tapped to serve as the Governor’s Chief of Staff in September of 2022. He came to the position after leadership roles on competitive statewide political campaigns in Missouri, Nevada, and Ohio. He also served as Communications Director and Spokesman for the Governor of Missouri after studying Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
