Mississippi's Top 50 Most Influential

Every press outlet in the state now knows Renae Eze. She currently serves as the Communications Director for the Office of Governor Tate Reeves, developing and assisting in implementing the Governor’s communications strategies during his historic first year in office.

Eze has landed coverage in print, broadcast, and new media outlets across the country, including CNN, Politico, and Fox News. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Born and raised in Colorado, Eze got her start in politics during the 2012 cycle on Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign. She worked the next two election cycles at America Rising, an opposition research firm, to hold candidates accountable by spearheading the production of web ads and assisting clients with their campaign ads. During the 2018 election cycle, she served as Press Secretary for a gubernatorial campaign in Ohio and then as Arizona/Nevada Communications Director for the Republican National Committee. Eze continued to build on her communications experience as Deputy Communications Director on Governor Reeves’ 2019 gubernatorial campaign, traveling across the state with the Governor to promote his vision for Mississippi and reach every voter.
