Coming from a family rooted in construction since 1955, Roy Anderson IV represents the third generation to work and lead a significant construction company in the southeastern United States. Seizing the opportunity to innovate and honor the foundation laid by his grandfather and father, Roy IV co-founded AnderCorp in 2019 with headquarters in Gulfport, MS and a regional office in Jackson, MS.
As a University of Mississippi B.B.A. Finance graduate, Roy brings years of project management and executive experience, working on notable projects from Louisiana to New York City. Under Roy’s leadership, AnderCorp has become a major Mississippi and regional construction firm, operating projects in six states, and drastically increasing its revenue and size across several different construction markets. Recently, AnderCorp announced a transformative $270 million project in Bossier City, Louisiana, adding to its already sizable backlog.
Having founded AnderCorp with a community-first, people-focused culture, Roy and his team are undertaking high-profile projects contributing to Mississippi’s economic growth and quality of life. These include projects like the new Department of Public Safety Headquarters, Ocean Aero, and the Jim and Thomas Duff Center at Mississippi State University, alongside many major hospitality and commercial projects across the Southeast.
Roy IV is an active participant in many professional and community organizations. He is an active board member of the Associated General Contractors–Mississippi Chapter and a graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast.
