Mike Bianco is entering his 23rd season as the head coach of the Ole Miss baseball team, making him longest-active coach in the SEC among the sports of baseball, men’s basketball, and football. In 2022, Bianco led the Rebels to their first National Championship in program history, making an unprecedented run as the last team into the postseason.
With a record of 854-485-1 in Oxford, Bianco is the third-winningest coach in SEC history and the winningest in Ole Miss history. Bianco has led Ole Miss to 18 postseason appearances in 21 full seasons, including eight Super Regional berths and two trips to the College World Series
(2014 & 2022). Named the National Coach of the Year in 2022 & 2020, Bianco has led the Rebels to four SEC Western Division titles, two SEC Tournament titles and one SEC regular-season championship.
Ole Miss has seen 126 players drafted into Major League Baseball during his tenure, including a combined 20 in the past four seasons, and 21 Rebels have made their MLB debuts in the past 20 seasons. Bianco has coached a total of 92 All-America and Freshman All-America selections.
Bianco, 55, is married to the former Camille Marquette, and the couple has five children: sons, Michael, Benjamin, Andrew and Samuel, and one daughter, Catherine.
